Packet pickup and T-shirt distribution at Lions Gym & Wellness Center
Event Crew will ensure the smooth operation of packet pickup. You will greet each participant, check their ID, and hand out race bag, packets and t-shirts.
Cheer Squad/Event Crew
The Cheer Squad/Event Crew will point runners in the right direction and ensure participants are staying on the race course while cheering them on. Event Crew will be stationed along the course as needed. This position will include a pre-race meeting, Thursday, May 19th, to explain the role in more detail and answer any questions. An e-mail with time and location will follow.
Event Crew will direct volunteers, participants and spectators to designated parking lots.
Course set up
Event Crew will set up mile markers and course marking along the 3 races.
Event Crew will register new participants and provide information to participants, spectators, and event crew. We will supply all the answers to the questions.
Event Crew will place participant’s bags in a secure location.
Event Crew main job is to set up and tear down water stops, hand out water to participants as they run past and clean up all the water cups around your station when you’re done. Be sure to cheer on the participants.
Event Crew will place medals on finishers and/or retrieve timing chips from participants when they finish, along with congratulating the finishers.
Refreshments and Food
Event Crew will help set up and tear down the refreshments and food area. As participants go through the lines, make sure everything stays stocked.
Event Crew will assist our timing company as needed.
Event Crew will be in charge of all aspects of the kid’s race. This will include set up, marshalling, clean up and cheering on the participants.
Post-race tear down
Event Crew will teardown all the equipment, load trucks and help clean up all trash. Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds and climb in and out of trucks easily.
